All group mat classes are organised by ability level, from Improver to Intermediate to All Levels Welcome. This way there is always a class to suit your ability and needs.
Trick Nuts Pilates also include special monthly classes like The Classical Mat and High Intensity Power Pilates (HIP Pilates®).
Pilates classes on the mat optimise the mat space, as well as incorporating the use of small equipment like balls, bands, rings and hand weights.

Sarah Mead is a Surbiton based, Level 3 Pilates Instructor and completed her training with YBFIT Training in Surrey. Offering group mat Pilates classes and one-to-one Pilates classes for all levels in the Surbiton area, with cheesy upbeat music!
Sarah discovered mat Pilates in 2004, then completed her teacher training in 2012, and was thrown in the deep end from the start - loving every single minute of it!
Also a fully qualified instructor of Pilates Reformer, Cadillac and Chair equipment, and High Intensity Power Pilates (HIP Pilates®) with Lisa B Pilates Academy for Teachers, fully trained to teach Pregnancy and Post-Natal Pilates, and a Beginners pole fitness instructor with The Pole Studio. I've been attending Sarah’s Zoom classes for a year now. Each class is varied and always fun. Even though I've been keeping fit for years, it is amazing what an overall benefit Pilates has been to my fitness and my ongoing joint issues. Each class is challenging, there is always great guidance on technique, and each class is always delivered with a big smile.

I've been doing Sarah's classes for years and even though I now live a little further away, I still attend as I absolutely love her classes. Sarah makes the classes great fun whilst also managing to ensure she challenges us. She is great at accommodating everyones need - even made it possible for me to continue with the same class whilst pregnant and when getting back into exercise post baby. The virtual classes over the last couple of weeks have been equally great.

I love Sarah’s mat class, she makes it fun and she helps you get it right. I have known Sarah for over 2 years now, she got me into Pilates and since then my posture has changed and her classes really help me cope with lower back pain. The cheesy music is also included in the package!
Sarah is a really supportive & fun teacher, and I love going to her classes. She does a great job at encouraging & coaching everybody in the class - irrespective of their level, and even when there is mix of levels/capabilities of students.
This was my first time with Trick Nuts Pilates having met Sarah through Body Control Pilates. It certainly won't be the last. The exercises were challenging; I could feel them doing me good and above the whole experience was good fun.
Sarah's class is full of energy, great music and positive vibes. She watches you with an eagle eye and really encourages you to push yourself to the next level. My body and posture have been transformed since attending Sarah's Pilates lessons!
Sarah always makes me laugh during class and I always leave feeling rejuvenated. The classes are challenging and adjusted to your level and needs. Would highly recommend!
